Frequently Asked Questions

About Process and Timeline

How does the process work?
  1. Discovery Call (30-45 min): We discuss your business, goals, and technical needs
  2. Proposal: You receive detailed scope, timeline, and pricing
  3. Design & Development: We build in phases with regular check-ins
  4. Testing: Cross-browser testing, QA, and your final review
  5. Training & Launch: We train your team and go live
  6. Support: Post-launch support period to ensure success
How long does a typical project take?
  • Essential sites: 4-7 weeks
  • Business Growth sites: 8-12 weeks
  • Enterprise solutions: 3-12 months

Timeline depends on project complexity and how quickly content is provided.

What if my content isn’t ready?
We can start with design and structure while you prepare content. We can also help with content strategy or recommend copywriters. Projects pause if content delays exceed 2 weeks.

About Technology and Access

What CMS do you use?

Primarily WordPress for content-managed sites, but have worked with Drupal, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow. For custom applications, we build from scratch using PHP/MySQL. The choice depends on your specific needs.

Will I be able to make changes myself?

Yes! Every project includes training and documentation. You’ll have full access to update content, add pages, and manage your site. For clients who prefer hands-off management, our maintenance packages handle everything.

Do I own my website?
Absolutely. You own all custom code, content, and design. We retain portfolio rights (no sensitive information) and can sign NDAs as needed.
Can I host it anywhere?

Yes. We offer hosting on our managed cloud servers, or we can work with your existing host (Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.). We’ll help you choose the best option.

About Project and Scope

Is there a limit to the number of pages?
No artificial limits. Pricing is based on complexity and functionality, not page count. Your site includes as many pages as your business needs.
What if I need changes during development?
Minor adjustments and refinements are included. Significant scope changes (major content rewrites, new features, design overhauls) are handled through our change order process, which documents additional costs and timeline impact before work begins.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. Projects require a 50% deposit to begin, with the remaining balance due upon completion. Enterprise projects may be structured with milestone-based payments.
What payment methods do you accept?
Check, bank transfer, or credit card (via invoice). Payment plans available for projects over $10,000

About Maintenance and Support

What happens after launch?
Every project includes complimentary post-launch support (1-6 months depending on package) for bug fixes and technical issues. After that, you can choose a maintenance package or pay as-you-go at our hourly rate.
What if something breaks?
If it’s within your support period, we fix it at no charge. Outside the support period, maintenance clients get priority response. Emergency fixes for critical issues (site down, security breach) are handled immediately.
Can you work with my existing website?
Yes! We can redesign, rebuild, migrate, or enhance existing sites. We’ll assess your current site during the discovery call and recommend the best path forward.

About Integrations and Custom Work

Can you integrate with my existing systems?
In most cases, yes. If your system has a public API and documentation, we can integrate it. We’ve connected CRMs, accounting software, payment processors, email platforms, and custom internal tools.
Do you work with Zoho/Salesforce?
Absolutely. We specialize in Zoho CRM implementation and customization (certified expertise) and have extensive Salesforce integration experience.
Can you build custom features my business needs?
Yes! Custom development is our specialty. From patient portals to financial dashboards to event management systems – if you can describe it, we can build it.
